The last version of Palm Desktop supplied for Windows Users. The only version that works well with Windows 7/8/10. For USB Driver support for Windows 7/8/10 you will also need the Aceeca drivers offered below. And if you have any older legacy palm device (such as Palm OS 4 PDAs) you will also need the Pimlico fix below as well. Read the Pimlico listing below to see if you need that fix.

Aceeca came to the rescue to provide 32bit & 64Bit drivers for Palm Desktop 6.2, for users running Windows 7/8/10. Allows HotSync over USB with Palm Desktop. Other interfaces (serial, Bluetooth, etc) do not require these drivers.
This archive also includes a pdf with instructions for installing the 64 bit drivers.

This simple freeware application makes it possible to sync all legacy Palm devices with the newest V-6.2 Palm Desktop. Palm claims that the V-6.2 desktop won't work with older devices, but PalmHotSyncSetup fixes that issue.

When most of the other Palm OS vendors dropped out of the market, Palm rewrote their PIM applications and came out with a new internal architecture that was not fully compatible with Palm OS applications written for the earlier generation devices. We refer to the older devices as Legacy devices. Here is a list of specific devices which fall into each category:

Legacy Devices: any device running OS4 or earlier, any non-Palm brand handheld (Sony, Garmin, etc.), or Treo-600, Tungsten C/T/T2, Zire-71
Newer Devices: any Treo model except Treo-600, Tungsten T3/T5/Tx/LifeDrive, Zire 72/31

The Sony Clie version of Palm Desktop.
Works with: Should be compatible with all Sony Clie models, including Sony CLIÉ PEG-SJ22, PEG-SJ33, PEG-SL10, NR Series, NX Series, PEG-NZ90, PEG-TG50, UX Series.

The Janam version of Palm Desktop 4.1. This archive also includes the 64 bit drivers.
Compatible with: Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows ME, Windows 98, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows Vista, Windows Media Center Edition 2005. Works with Windows 7/8/10 with the 64-Bit Janam drivers included.

The original 4.1.4 version written for Palm OS 4.x devices.
Works with: Tungsten C, E, T, T2, T3, W; Zire 71, 31, 21, Zire; Palm m500, m100 series; Palm VII, V, III series; Palm i705; Pilot
Compatible with: Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows ME, Windows 98

The original 4.1.4 version was written for Palm OS 4.x devices, whereas this 4.1.4e (Extended) version was built for PalmOS 5.x devices using the new PIM programs (Contacts and Calendar vs. Address Book and Datebook).
This installer is not meant for Treo 600 users or anyone who has the PocketMirror Standard conduits because this desktop installs the Outlook conduits meant for handhelds and smartphones which use the extended PIM applications.

The Macintosh Appearance Manager is required for Mac OS System 7 based systems to run the early Palm Desktop Versions.
Please note: This version is already included with OS 8 & 8.1, so there is no need to install this on those systems.

Palm Desktop 2.6.3 with Note Pad, released in 2001. Version 2.6.3 is able to run on Mac OS System 7.5.3 and later. It also requires the Appearance Manager software installed (available on this page), when running Palm Desktop on Mac OS System 7.5.3 to 7.6.1.
